Mobile help when a lorry tyre stops the journey
A damaged or flat tyre can leave an HGV at the roadside, in a yard or at a depot. Tell us the vehicle location and what has happened. We will assess the tyre requirement, confirm availability and explain the next step.
What to tell us
- The exact location, including a road and junction, postcode or depot address
- Vehicle registration and whether the tyre is on the tractor or trailer
- Tyre size if visible and a short description of the damage
- Whether the vehicle is in a safe position for assistance
How a mobile call-out works
After assessing the details, we discuss suitable assistance and availability. Work at the vehicle depends on safe access and the right tyre being available. If you are on a live road, follow the relevant roadside safety guidance and contact emergency services where there is immediate danger.
